The hotel is conveniently located near the ferry and bike rental station, perfect for starting the Shimanami Kaido Cycling Trip. The rooms are decent but could use some brighter decor, although they were clean. The service was courteous, although slightly distant. The dining options were good, offering a variety of Japanese and European dishes. Overall, a convenient choice for those embarking on the Shimanami Kaido adventure.

The rooms are pretty small but fine for a short stay, a bit dark with heavy drapes and dark carpet. Ours, although a non-smoking room, had a stale smell.

The staff was accommodating and finally agreed to unlock the windows. While they were helpful and courteous, they seemed a bit distant compared to other places.

The location is excellent for those starting the Shimanami Kaido Cycling Trip, right near the railway and bus stations, as well as the ferry. Conveniently close to bike rental stations and transportation hubs.

The hotel rooms felt like being on a cruise ship, honestly, very tiny, with one double bed pushed against the wall. Rooms facing the inland sea and working harbor were stuffy and noisy, not ideal for a good night's sleep. On the bright side, the location is fantastic for biking on Shimanami Kaido, right in front of JR Onomichi Station.
